Let us carefully examine the Astrotheological and conceptual foundations of religion, and then decide if the various “saviors” throughout religious teachings “is not risen”. However, in order to do that, we must go back almost 10,000 years to the birth of modern man. For when one seeks to establish foundations, one must begin at the beginning.

Thousands of years in what is called the “primordial world” of the ancients, human life was very different in comparison to what we enjoy today. Although they have less documentation on that prehistoric world than we have in our own time, there is enough known from ancient writings to paint a clear picture of our primitive ancestors. If we learned anything, it is this: The more we change, the more we stay the same. This is clearly demonstrated in the history of man’s search for “God” via the old and new religions that are still held holy to this day.

According to the understanding we have gathered from available records, life was for our ancestors, a mixture of wonder and fear. Every day, just to find food for his family without becoming a meal for predators, roaming was a fight to the death. (If you have already ventured on a cold night with insufficient clothing, and without friends or family nearby, you can quickly see how fearful the dark, cold nights could be) and then came the winter!

These meager and harsh conditions of the human race is where our long history of seeking God and meaning has come. Any changes to this has been a painfully slow process. From the beginning, man’s profound questions demanded answers. When no clear answers were forthcoming from the universe, man turned inward, and developed his own. Note that all the theological teachings of the Western world have developed in the northern hemisphere. The study of this subject is itself.

This is the first story, original, and therefore the oldest and most respected on Earth! It did not take long for early man in this world to realize the greatest single enemy they faced was the darkness of the night, and all the unknown dangers that accompanies it. In short, the first enemy of man was at night. Understand this, people find it easy to see why their best and most reliable friend of the human race is the glorious gift to the world…The Sun.

With this simple truth understood, we can now begin to unravel a story that’s ancient and wonderful. Today, as in the history of all humanity, it will be restated again.

Modern Christianity has often belittled our ancestors who are not here to defend themselves. Making false accusations that they were nothing more than faithful and ignorant Sun worshipers. Therefore, we can with certainty, summarily dismiss thousands of years of human spirituality as ignominious myth, believed by the primitive well-intentioned but naive. Too much of this kind of spiritual arrogance and religious pride has continued without challenge. It’s time to get the root of the matter, and set things straight.

In the first place. Not the people of the ancient world believed the “Sun” from “God”. It belongs to a “file of misinformation.”

In fact, every ancient culture and nation on Earth have used the Sun as the most logical and appropriate symbol to represent the glory of the invisible Creator of the heavens. This makes it important to note two points.

First, with the exception of Japan, the mythologies of the ancient world always understood the Sun to be masculine in qualities, and the moon feminine. Second, the English language comes from the German. In Germanic, “Sun” is spelled ‘Sonne’. The two words can (and are) used interchangeably.

Old Testament:
“The heavens are declaring the Glory of God.” (PS.19: 1)

New Testament:
“Jesus is the Glory of God.” (2 Cor 4:6)

Old Testament:
“The SUN of Righteousness will arise with healings in His wings.” (Mal 4:2)

New Testament:
“The people that sat in darkness saw great light; and upon those who sat in the region and shadow of death light arose.” (Matt 4:16)
